An open public meeting at the Hoosick Falls Central School Auditorium presented by Healthy Hoosick Water, Inc.. The featured speaker will be EPA regional administrator Judith Enck. The program will include experts from EPA Region 2. This will be an open forum for discussion to address concerns and answer questions. - A group of volunteers working to collect and distribute bottled water to seniors and homebound citizens of Hoosick Falls NY due to contaminated water. We are hoping to assist anyone elderly or home bound that may be experiencing difficulties with picking up their bottled water at Tops. We are currently looking for more volunteers as well as contact information for anyone who may be in need of our assistance.

An open information session concerning the water issue with the Municipal Water System. The Village has organized this event to give citizens the opportunity to meet directly with many of the involved parties working on this issue—to gather distributed information and ask questions. Representatives from the Village, Town, NYS Department of Health, Rensselaer County Department of Health, engineering firms, Saint-Gobain, Municipal Water System operators, Tops Market, local realtors and others will be available to answer questions and to provide information on the status and time frame for the plans to upgrade the Municipal Water System. The event will be an open forum where each represented party will have a table set up where people can talk to them directly one-on-one.
